It is time to sign up for our Summer Retreat at Camp Lone Star! Registration will begin on May 1, 2024. I will be at both of our May meetings to receive your registration, or you may mail your form and check to my home address. Do not mail it to the guild’s post office box.
Our retreat will begin on Friday evening since the kids’ camp is going on. The retreat will end on Monday afternoon. We will offer two classes this summer during our retreat. Barbara Farris will teach “Attic Window With A Panel,” and Emerald Romo will teach “Painting a Barn Quilt.” Once you sign up for the class, I will send you the class instructions. The Attic Window class will take place on Saturday, and the Barn Quilt will be on Sunday.
We should have access to the swimming pool on Saturday. Please indicate on the form if you plan to swim.
The cost of the retreat includes brunch and dinner beginning on Saturday. Your linens and towels are also provided by the camp. The guild asks that if you are paying online that you pay with Zelle as the guild is not charged a fee. You may pay by check in full or pay a deposit of $45. I will not deposit the check until 2 weeks before the retreat. You must be paid in full by June 21st.
