CHARITY QUILT DAY

Saturday, July 27,

9 am – 2:30 pm.

Trini Mendenhall Sosa Community Center

1414 Wirt Road. 

WHAT TO BRING: A plate or dish of food to share for potluck lunch (sandwiches, casserole, fruit, dessert, salad) A spill proof mug. Please bring your own beverages. Basic sewing equipment, thread, pins, scissors, rotary cutter, cutting mat, ruler, and possibly a cushion for your chair.Sewing machine, extension cord. 

You can come for an hour or stay the entire time.

Kits will be provided to piece a quilt top or you may do your own thing. If you don’t want to sew, you can help others by cutting, ironing, and cheerleading. Kits are being made using precut layer cakes. The pattern requires 20 – 10” coordinating fabrics. I will be glad to take your donations of layer cakes or you can bring your own for your kit.

This is not a member only event. Bring a friend if you would like. Sign up sheets will be at the Comforter table at the meetings starting in May.  You may also text or email that you would like to attend.
